Elsoft 出2014年报咯，去年Elsoft的表现真的是亮眼，几乎是Exponential的爆发。
那么2015年是否会维持成长呢？通过年报看未来展望，公司已经做好准备迎接充满挑战的2015年。
Elsoft在2014年从ACE版成功转去主板，加上派息政策不少于净收入的40%，希望借此吸引更多基金投资，股价也从2014年RM0.75+攀升至目前的RM1.7+，番了1.25倍，让股东也感到安慰了。可惜我是半途才杀入 :P

Dividend
The Board had announced and adopted a dividend policy, effective from the financial year 2014, to pay an annual dividend of not less than 40% of its annual net profit after taxation, on condition that such distribution will not be detrimental to the Group’s cash flow requirements.
Accordingly, the Board had declared and paid a First Tax Exempt Interim Dividend of 2 sen per ordinary share of RM0.10 on 29 September 2014 and a Second Single Tier Dividend of 5 sen per ordinary share of RM0.10 each on 15 April 2015 representing a payout ratio of 62.9% of our Group’s PAT for FY2014 (50.17% for FY2013).
Prospects and Outlook
Experts in the semiconductor industry is expecting a further growth of 5.4% in year 2015 from the global revenue achieved in year 2014. Computing applications will continue to be the largest market for semiconductors, followed by wireless and consumer applications. However, the industrial electronics segment is expected to outperform overall semiconductor market growth driven by mainly LED lighting applications. In addition, the Internet of Things (“IoT”) will continue to drive very strong unit growth in 2015 and beyond.
The Company applied for a transfer from the ACE Market to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and had successfully transferred its entire issued and paid-up share capital from the ACE Market to the Main Market on 22 January 2015. The Board is optimistic that the successful transfer to the Main Board will augur well for the Company and would enhance the shareholders’ value in the long term. The Company had invested in a new associated company, Butterfly House (PG) Sdn Bhd on 15 December 2014. The Board is of the view that it is timely to diversify the business into other profitable investments which will translate into better returns for the shareholders in the long term.
Premised on the measures adopted by the Group to increase the long term shareholders’ values as disclosed in last year’s Chairman Statement and the new developments in year 2014 as reported, the Board is optimistic that the Group will continue to progress and further strengthen its financial position. The Group is also well positioned and ready to meet challenges in the year 2015.
